We, the undersigned, believe the Board of Trustees acted without complete and/or accurate information when making decisions at the Board meeting on March 9, 2009. We further believe that the public should have had the opportunity for input into those decisions, and that the actions taken by the Board were not educationally sound or in the best interest of students.
We therefore petition the Board to take the following actions:
1. Board President Cartmill to put items on the agenda for the next Board meeting to allow discussion and action on the reorganization chart and the termination of Assistant Superintendents Janney and Carberry
2. All Board members to vote to rescind approval of the new organizational chart, to rescind the termination of Assistant Superintendents Janney and Carberry, and to not approve the provisional placement of Janney and Carberry as school principals, or the reassignment of Mary Lawlor.
