EXCELLENT post! These are questions every teacher to which every teacher should be seeking answers. We are not working with people who can be trusted on their word. Integrity is lost. If you will do the research, you will come to the conclusion that something is ROTTEN in SUHSD!

Actually, I agree with the "essence" of Dr. Gandara's quote - that one can potentially learn from ones detractors, enemies, etc. and gain greater wisdom from the contributions they can make to ones growth and understanding. He just doesn't seem to believe his own words apply to him, or would he not be exhibiting some changes in his thoughts and actions by now? No, it doesn't appear he has learned much from his recent experiences with the protestors, unions, etc. - but he does appear to "meanly" keep trying to teach everyone who disagrees with him "a lesson" and maybe he imagines it's for their own good?
